Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH), a premier leader in high quality behavioral health care delivery, has exclusively retained Cejka Search to assist in the recruitment of an accomplished health care executive to serve as Vice President of Clinical Care.

Founded in 2015, NBH is committed to managing the mental health and substance abuse services for the greater patient population of Nevada. With a commitment to deliver individualized care, NBH partners with a team of local physicians, care professionals, and payors in the community to deliver high quality and cost-effective behavioral health services to a patient population of over 500,000 members.

Reporting to the President and Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Clinical Care will direct, coordinate, and provide therapeutic support services for patients suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues. The Vice President will work with a team of providers and care givers to implement care plans to promote recovery, symptom reduction, and increased coping skills to help patients achieve the highest level of social functioning. Through the effective use of utilization management review, the Vice President will be responsible for ensuring quality metrics are met and that NBH is compliant with local and national regulatory guidelines.

The Vice President of Clinical Care will have a proven track record in implementing utilization management services both in the inpatient and outpatient setting and develop discharge planning, care coordination, and case management protocols. S/he will demonstrate a strong clinical background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with experience in behavioral health services. Possession or willingness to obtain a professional license in Nevada is required.
