Behavioral Psychology Associates, P.C., is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to work as a part-time independent contractor with children, adolescents, and their families. This position could grow to full-time, if desired.
Behavioral Psychology Associates, P.C., is a multidisciplinary behavioral health care practice that recently celebrated 31 years in the community. Referral sources include pediatricians, pediatric specialty physicians, attorneys, and school personnel. Our main office is located in Hoffman Estates, IL, with a satellite office in Arlington Heights, IL. The satellite office is embedded in a group pediatric practice, which allows for greater collaboration with pediatricians and medical staff.
We are looking for candidates who have experience implementing evidence-based treatment protocols with children, parents, and families. Experience in parent-child training and collaborating with physicians and school personnel would be highly desired.
In Person and Telehealth sessions are available. Each patient and their BPA clinician decide which one is the most appropriate to meet the patient’s needs. BPA follows CDC guidelines, state mandates, and office safety precautions that have been in effect during the pandemic.
Our Pediatric Clinic focuses on the prevention and treatment of issues frequently encountered by children, adolescents, and their parents. These issues include (but are not necessarily limited to): Academic under-productivity; anxiety; attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder; bedtime struggles; bereavement; acute and chronic medical conditions; disruptive behavior; divorce-related concerns; elimination disorders; habits; headaches; learning disorders; noncompliance with parental requests, teacher instructions, and medical instructions; mood disorders; obsessive-compulsive disorder; pain management; school refusal; substance use disorders; tic disorders; and trauma.
Support staff are available Monday through Saturday from as early as 8:30am to as late as 7:00pm-8:00pm. Their responsibilities include (but are not necessarily limited to) triaging and scheduling new patient appointments, scheduling and/or rescheduling appointments for existing patients, consolidating schedules, and collecting payment.
