The Division of Psychology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, in collaboration with Developmental Pediatrics, is seeking a psychologist with expertise in autism and related behavioral health/developmental conditions. Primary responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation with the potential for additional clinical service (i.e., delivery of evidence-based interventions).
Successful candidates will have specialized training in the evidence-based evaluation of autism/developmental disabilities in youth, such as ADOS training or experience working in interdisciplinary diagnostic teams. Preference will be given to candidates with additional evidence-based intervention experience. The candidate must develop strong working relationships with our growing behavioral health colleagues, cultivate community partnerships, and participate in educational outreach opportunities. The psychologist will become a member of the Phoenix Children’s Medical Group and will report to the Division Chief of Psychology. The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Psychology and will join a growing team of 19 Psychologists and 35 Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Professionalism, leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and adaptability are essential. Active involvement in our APA accredited psychology internship and fellowship programs is expected, as is participation in the education of medical learners. Academic appointments are strongly encouraged through our relationships with University of Arizona-Phoenix College of Medicine, Creighton University School of Medicine, and Mayo School of Medicine.
