Join a small dedicated team of professionals in a Partial Hospitalization Program that serves adolescents aged 13-17. This is one of only three programs in Washington State that provides this type of service to Medicaid patients. This is a new program that will provide growth opportunities, particularly for incumbents with interest in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.Position Summary: The Mental Health Therapist (MA) is responsible for the delivery of clinical counseling and case management services to an identified client population, following established treatment guidelines, agency policies and procedures. Incumbents provide therapeutic intervention in a variety of treatment modalities, typically requiring Masters degree, that are matched to client needs. Incumbents provide therapeutic intervention using Dialectical Behavior Therapy and family therapy modalities. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred. Experience working with adolescents aged 13-17 preferred. Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy preferred, or willingness to become certified. Education/Licenses/Certifications: Master's Degree in a behavioral health related field requiredMust obtain Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration upon hireCurrent Washington State Driver's License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. May also require reliable vehicle for client transport.
