Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple per diem Crisis Clinicians for Behavioral Health -Ed Services at Newton Medical Center to work varied shifts including on-call and weekends as required by department.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Evaluate emergency department-referred behavioral health patients.
Conduct risk assessments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary, interdepartmental team.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Participate in quality initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree in mental health field and experience
Masters degree in mental health field and experience
Minimum Experience:
1 year post-masters full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting
3 years post-bachelors full time experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting
2 years post-bachelors full time professional experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting, and currently enrolled in a masters program
Licenses/Certifications:
LPC or LCSW preferred
