Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance-use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network.

About the position:
The Crisis Clinician is part of an intensive care team that focuses on assessment and safety planning for those at the greatest risk of danger to self or others or grave disability due to mental illness. This includes crisis assessments and ongoing clinical support services to allow individuals with serious mental illness to continue living in their community and disrupt emergency out-of-area hospitalizations as much as possible.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences
2 years of Clinical - Mental Health Counseling experience
Alaska licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychologist
The starting pay is $96,591.95 - $127,639.36 depending on experience and licensure.
Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) is a 63 bed, full service hospital located in Soldotna, Alaska which serves the Central Kenai Peninsula. CPH approaches wellness by including all aspects of healing – mental, emotional, spiritual, social and physical. Hospital facilities and services include all private patient rooms, four surgical suites, dedicated C-section suite, family birth center, 24-hour emergency department, imaging, laboratory, oncology/infusion center, outpatient services and physical therapy.
